Innovation inside the NHS

This Project is the collaboration between myself and GSTT London.
An 8 month design project supporting a 15 year investigation into the sound created by a shock-wave passing through the body and colliding with a ureteric stone during Lithotripsy.

The aim of the project was to translate the breakthroughs in research in medical physics into a commercial asset for the NHS.

Display and testing system - Informing operators of the state of the surgery, in real time and testing the functionality of the PAS

The Sensor system - Passive Acoustic sensor to aid monitoring of SWL
